Daily dose of Annoying
My friend emailed me this today. This pop-tart cat is super annoying! (If you value your brain cells, do not watch the whole thing)

Donations
As you can see to hte right I have added a fund raising widget supporting Invisible Children. It is a group helping child soldiers who have escaped find their way home, among many other great things. I have a goal to raise $25 dollars by April 25th, and every little penny counts. I'd love it if you would contribute even just a small amount, and it doesn't even have to be through me, this is a great cause and everyone should know about it!

Never-ending Cuteness of the Snail
At about ten o'clock last night I was watching 'The Never-ending story - which is kind of a surreal experience when you're tired. I hadn't seen the movie in a while, and while I was watching it I sort of fell in love with the racing snail. And for some strange reason, it reminded me of my horse Ciara (key-r-ah) you can't tell from my oh-so-flattering picture of her, but her personality reminded me of the snail. I kind of think this post is appropriate due to the blog's name ( I know the button is a conch shell) but Random Shell could mean snail shell as well. I wasn't thinking about it at the time I was naming blogs, but I kind of have a thing for turtles and snails in case you hadn't noticed (LOL).

An Interesting Question
Saturday, January 15, 2011
If you need something to add to your reading list...
I just finished Catherine Fisher's 'Sapphique' last night, and I am telling you if you like Science fiction/Fantasy even a little bit, you must read it! (Well actually it is a sequel to a book called 'Incarceron' so you would need to read that first). It has one of the best endings of any book I have read lately - and you totally don't see it coming!
